LIGHTWORKS RR is one of the manifestions of the vision that Ravi and Rashmi (Tolentino) Singh live with.  Their vision of a beautiful elegant joyful life springing from a culture of creativity that is in accordance with the universal laws.  Since it is an integral part of the philosophy and lifestyle of the couple, the underlying purpose of LIGHTWORKS has always been to design and produce everyday objects that will inspire wellbeing and aesthetics.

Design-led and excellence-driven, LIGHTWORKS has effectively grown from a hobby atelier in 1987 to the enterprise that it is now, through the passionate creative working partnership of its founders and the dedication of its in-house trained artisans.  It all started with  hand-hewn one-of  vessels, furniture and decorative pieces  of Narra hardwood with intricate marquetry and insertia and finished in beeswax polish which were exhibited in art galleries in 1998, 1999 and 2004. 

Ecological concerns and the decision to expand operations led LIGHTWORKS  to the realm of ceramics objets d'art in 2008.  By grace and inspiration, the dynamic creativity within the heart of LIGHTWORKS was brought to another defining moment in 2000 whereby Ravi started designing gilded metal art pieces.

The rest, as we say , is history.  LIGHTWORKS now presents to the world collections of indoor/outdoor  furniture, water features, iconic sculptural pieces, artwall, objets d'art that are gilded in the LIGHTWORKS way.

Since its joining international shows in 1989 LIGHTWORKS, which now has the trademarks LIGHWTORKS RR abroad and LIGHTWORKS in the Philippines, has received recognition and commendation for the results of its cutting edge policies and processes as expressed through its signature designs and finishes be it in artwall, furniture, water features, vessels, lamps.  Some of the citations received are ----
